Let cool.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"9030s\" data-offset-key=\"23oq1-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"23oq1-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"23oq1-0-0\">Make the dressing: <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"9030s\" data-offset-key=\"55pe4-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"55pe4-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"55pe4-0-0\">In a food processor, combine the lemon juice with the minced garlic and let stand for 15 minutes. Transfer half of the toasted almonds to the food processor. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"9030s\" data-offset-key=\"bc56t-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bc56t-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bc56t-0-0\">Add the cilantro, cumin, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper and pulse until chopped. Add the olive oil and process to a chunky paste. Season with salt and pepper; transfer to a large bowl. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"9030s\" data-offset-key=\"cb53-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"cb53-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"cb53-0-0\">Add the chickpeas, carrots and raisins to the bowl and toss. Garnish with the remaining almonds and serve.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"9030s\" data-offset-key=\"7gs0f-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7gs0f-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7gs0f-0-0\">If you want to make the carrot salad ahead of time, it can be refrigerated overnight. Garnish with the toasted almonds just before serving.
